Useful Links
This site is brilliant for some topics.
Something every student should read well in advance of the exam season, while the list of support options is pretty comprehensive.
This site has been set up by the various GP practices in Cambridge. The design of the site might be a bit Hollyoaks, but the information and links in there are brilliant. Very practical stuff, maintained well and answers some of the questions we just can't.
NUS Campaign for Welfare and Student Rights
Does pretty much what it says on the tin here, to be honest.
Cambridge University Counselling Service
This is the University welfare service of sorts, but it's not just counselling. This is a fantastic resource: the self-help leaflets are short, clear and helpful discussing most topics that affect student welfare. It gives information about the various groups and workshops that deal with welfare issues, which take place pretty regularly and are very well regarded judging by peer response.
This is an independent (but government funded) drugs advice website. It's pretty handy and isn't ridiculously biased, with some very interesting tips and advice about drugs.
Linkline is a listening support and information service, run by students for students, every night of Cambridge University full term. You can phone them on 01223 744 444 or 01223 367 575.
Confidential support for survivors of rape and sexual abuse.
