Your DVD suggestions... unedited :)

Hey all,

Firstly thanks to everyone who suggested film titles, it's been great fun reading all your suggestions. This is just a general list (literally copy pasted from the various emails I received and unedited) of all your suggestions so far, we have about 50 in total! Buying all of them may exceed the budget we currently have, but I will work on making a fair selection of what to buy initially (i.e. films with repeated requests will have priority etc.) and we can always apply for more money further down the road anyway. Hope to get the initial batch in as soon as possible :)

On the skinhead theme, there are some more good ones out there - Made In Britain and Romper Stomper, if that's your sort of thing. Personally I don't much mind if you order them or not, just recommending them for people who like those kinda films. :)

You might already have these,

'Crash'

'Earth 1947' is more historical, but that's also about tensions between communities and minority/majority issues.

Some other ideas.

How about some Spike Lee films:
- Do the Right Thing
- Summer of Sam

Also, some good Mongolian films:
- The Cave of the Yellow Dog
- The Story of the Weeping Camel

And the Israeli film, Waltz with Bashir
