Cellar Committee Recruitment

This is a call for anyone who is interested in being on (or remain on) the Cellar Bar committee this year.  The Cellar Bar committee is also responsible for running the Mingles so if you'd like to be involved with them this applies to you too.  I'll be holding a meeting on *Monday night*, so if you're interested email rjl67 pronto and I'll tell you where and when.  If you're interested and not available then, email me anyway and I'll fill you in.

Some of the exciting things the cellar committee do include hiring DJs, buying alcohol, making Mingle art, looking after expensive sound & light gear, promoting nights, hiring staff and many more things besides.

I am also particularly interested in hearing from anyone who might want to become the Cellar bar treasurer - not a great deal of work, but a good way to be involved with the Cellar and good CV points!

Obviously the Cellar hasn't been open recently, and the Mingle is some months away, so you might think there's not much point joining the committee.  However now is actually a really exciting time to be part of the committee, as you could be instrumental in getting the cellar open again and shaping the future of the Cellar and Mingles for years to come!

There are lots of important decisions to be made regarding both the Cellar and the Mingle and this will start at the meeting on Monday night, so it really is worth getting involved.

All I ask from you is a commitment to turn up to meetings (at most once a week), to reply to your emails promptly, and to carry out the work you agree to do.  In return you get the kudos of being part of the team that makes the Cellar amazing again, as well as the obvious stuff like free Mingle tickets (and maybe even cool committee t-shirts).
